Why Photography?

I find peace in slowing down the world with my lens, comfort in capturing life.

Joy in reading stories in people's eyes, and thrill from the sound of the shutter.

People do like labels, so I get asked:

"What type of photographer are you?"

I don't have a niche, though I love photographing people's faces.

Digital, Film, Indoor, Outdoors, Portrait, Street, Animals, Sharp, Blurry, Edgy, Grainy...

I honestly don't care.

I respect expertise,

I just don't let it tell me what to do.

Does not really matter to me.

Although, I love my 24-70mm most days.

I do have a pretty bad obsession with cameras, my oldest one is from the 1920s.

The only thing I truly care about, is the way I feel when I'm holding a camera.
